St Theresa
Textile Trove opened its doors in the spring of 1994. It was founded
by Becky Hancock (current sole owner) and her sister Terrie Hancock Mangat.
Formerly located in the historic district of Cincinnati, Over-the-Rhine for
about 12-1/2 years, it was moved to a different neighborhood about 8 miles
from downtown, College Hill. The new shop opened in September of 2006.
|
The Trove is
an amazing microcosm of rich and colorful merchandise for anyone who
appreciates the unusual and hard-to-find. There is so much more in the
store than can ever be put on the website. Our staff will gladly share
their knowledge with you. We have developed an international
reputation for having a very wide selection of beads, fabric, buttons and
other hard-to-find items, all under one roof.
|
We offer a
variety of classes involving beading, sewing,
fabric dying, some knitting, and other skills using the merchandise in our
shop. Our instructors include staff, friends of the shop and
professional artisans who are quite skilled in their craft.
